Volunteers from Bacon’s Little Dribblers basketball program will be in front of Bacon, collecting donations of FROZEN turkeys, chickens, and hams to take to the Food Bank for Larimer County. We appreciate the generosity and giving spirit of the Bacon community during Turkey Round Up time! 

We are excited to announce that we will be putting together our Thanksgiving/Holiday Baskets again this year to help support some of our Bacon families during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday season. If you’re able to contribute to this heartwarming initiative, please sign up and bring your donation to the school office by 7:50 am on November 20th. A few times this school year, two grade levels will team up to treat our teachers and staff to a luncheon as a way to show our appreciation for everything they do for our students!  On Friday, November 8th, the Second and Fifth Grades are responsible for hosting the teachers' luncheon. This luncheon will be full of pasta and Italian-style foods!

We’ll discuss the Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat, as well as our November activities like the November staff luncheon, holiday basket assembly, December teacher appreciation, and more. The meeting will be at 6:30pm in the media center.

It’s time for a spooktacular time with friends at Bacon’s annual Trunk or Treat on October 25th from 4:30pm-6:00pm (fun food trucks will be open until 6:30pm).

Tuesday October 15th is our Dinner Night Out at Texas Roadhouse! From 5-8pm, bring (or show) the attached flyer to Texas Roadhouse on Harmony and 10% of your total will go right back to Bacon!

Join us for May’s PTO meeting. We’ll wrap up all of the end-of-year business!

The PTO is holding a Community Gala and Fundraising Event for parents, teachers and staff on Friday, May 3rd, called “A Night on the Town.” The event will be from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Agave Ballroom in Old Town, Fort Collins. We’re trying to raise around $33,000 to “close the gap” in order to complete Phase II of our outdoor improvement project (the Track) by 2025.

Pick up a good book at our Spring Scholastic Book Fair! We’ll be open for students to shop during their lunch Tuesday through Friday, and also for shopping after school on Monday through Thursday (2:15-4pm), and during Books Before Bedtime. See your email and the Friday Folder flyers for information on setting up an ewallet for your child.
