Walk the Red Carpet -
A gala to build community and raise funds for Bacon Elementary
-
What is it?
The PTO is holding a Community Gala and Fundraising Event for parents, teachers and staff on Friday, February 21st, called “Walk the Red Carpet.” The event will be from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Agave Ballroom in Old Town, Fort Collins, will cost $50 per person, and will include dinner, a beverage of choice, and music. We will have a childcare option for school-aged children at Krav Maga on a first come-first serve basis that will cost $10 per child. Sign up here.
The fundraising component will be our incredible silent auction that will run online prior to the event and will transition into the live event on February 21st. We will have themed baskets, stocked full of some of your favorite things, experiences galore, and count-me-ins for children (a fun event that you sign up for and pay per person to attend).

How do we participate?
There are several ways to pitch in!
First, we need silent auction donations. We will be accepting donations in your child’s classroom until Friday, January 10th. Please click the above link for all the basket themes and suggested items. We will also gladly accept items such as vacation stays, tickets to sporting events, experiences, etc. Contact Kelly at mrskellykley@gmail.com if you have an experience you would like to donate.
If you’d like to purchase tickets to attend the gala, please press the “Buy Tickets Now” button above. Note - ticket prices will increase on January 1st.
If you’re interested in participating in the online auction, stay tuned for the catalog and more information. -
Why are we raising money again?
We are so excited that we were able to raise enough funds to cover the Outdoor Classroom and Track project through last year’s gala and the 2024 Race for Bacon.
This year, we’re working to fund a multitude of educational materials including classroom libraries, supplemental curriculum, field trips, everyday classroom items, alternative seating, and many other useful tools that benefit our entire student body.
